Atari has confirmed that the next installment in the Chris Sawyer-originated RollerCoaster Tycoon series is coming to Nintendo 3DS next year. In development from Florida-based studio n-Space, it's the first time the series has been available on a handheld console. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D is a brand new game, rather than a port of a previous title from the series.Jim Wilson, CEO of Atari, said in a statement, "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D marks the return of one of the most popular game franchises and delivers an innovative, robust and unrestricted theme park simulator to the next generation of Tycoon fans
