Dragon Quest X has subscription fees

Square Enix’s support Q&A page has confirmed what most had already assumed: Dragon Quest X will indeed have subscription fees. Along with purchasing the game itself, players will need to spend some extra cash to continue playing online. The page doesn’t elaborate on pricing or any other details. By the looks of this not many people going to be to happy about this. Also You can play a few hours of the game’s opening offline, the FAQ answered, but afterwards players are required to connect to the Internet. Square Enix also says the game will have a usage fee, but the price has not been determined. Monster Hunter Tri and Monster Hunter G have online fees in Japan where a subscription costs 800 Wii Points ($8) for 30 days, 1,500 Wii Points ($15) for 60 days or 2,000 Wii Points ($20) for 90 days. Capcom waived online fees for Monster Hunter Tri in North America.
