‘Pokédex 3D’
Nintendo of America revealed on Thursday afternoon that Nintendo 3DS application, “Pokédex 3D”, will receive an update at the end of the month that will introduce new features, including new Pokémon and SpotPass availability of Pokémon alternate forms which were previously only available by connecting with friends.
According to the information released by Nintendo, on August 31, “Pokédex 3D” users will receive a prompt to update their Pokédex which will immediately unlock 6 new Pokémon, including Reshiram and Zekrom.
The update will also allow users to download the alternate forms of Pokémon through SpotPass, opposed to having to connect with friends. To update, you simply have to tap the update button within the application come August 31.
Starting August 31, be sure to update Pokédex 3D to unlock a number of features. This will immediately unlock 6 Pokémon, including Reshiram and Zekrom, that previously required scanning a Pokémon AR Marker. It will also make all other Pokémon downloadable through SpotPass, including all alternate forms which previously were only available by connecting with friends. To update Pokédex 3D, just tap the Update button inside the application.
On November 8, Nintendo will release the "Pokédex 3D Pro" on the Nintendo eShop.
